Olio 5 Grani è un olio extravergine di Oliva di categoria superiore, ottenuto esclusivamente mediante procedimenti meccanici. 5 Grani è un prodotto Siciliano, e come tale conserva al suo interno le tradizioni e le diversità specifiche della zona. Il gusto intenso ed aromatico è l’eredità della zona in cui crescono i suoi ulivi, Sciacca (AG) nella costa Sud Occidentale dell’Isola.
5 Grani si caratterizza inoltre per un bassissimo grado di acidità (acido oleico pari allo 0,34%); un olio di alta qualità idoneo ad essere utilizzato sia per quei cibi che richiedono la presenza di un olio robusto e corposo, ma anche per pietanze che richiedono un condimento più delicato: il sapore intenso di 5 Grani non copre il sapore delle pietanze, ma lo arricchisce.

What is Extra Virgin olive oil?
Extra Virgin olive oil is oil extracted from olives with a mechanical pressing, avoiding the usage of any kind of chemical process or substance. As you can check from the video below, there are no donkeys pulling stones wheels around, but the principle is the same, just translated into a more technological one, which leads to a safer and more hygienic production.
Due to exclusive mechanical process, Extra Virgin oil doesn’t undergo any alteration of its features: Extra Virgin oil has got a low percentage of Acidity. Extra Virgin oil has got a low level of oleic acid, below 0,8%.
The level of oleic acid of 5grani is 0,34% as reported in the first raw of the Chemical analysis, published on our oil page!
